An IRIB employee committed suicide due to the misconduct of a retirement expert

Yesterday, Mr. Reza Jahani Khah, one of the IRIB employees who retired last year, visited the IRIB administrative complex once again to claim his retirement benefits and severance pay to prepare his daughter’s dowry.

Around 3 PM, one of the retirement experts behaved poorly with him. The behavior from the retirement department was in no way appropriate, and instead of calming him down, as he was desperate from repeated visits, they treated him with harshness, humiliation, and insult.

Due to the distress and emotional turmoil caused by the offensive and insulting encounters, he threw himself off the railings to the B2 basement level.

Last year, Seyed Abbas Mousavi, another retiree from the organization, also committed suicide in the technical building due to financial difficulties, ending his life.
