Ismail Baghaei stated that no negotiations have been conducted and no new commitments have been accepted regarding the nuclear case.

The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that interaction with the International Atomic Energy Agency will continue as per the current routine and based on the resolutions of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the decisions of the Supreme National Security Council.

The IRNA news agency also reported, quoting informed officials, that Iran did not conduct any negotiations or accept new commitments regarding the nuclear case during 18 hours of talks in Switzerland.

According to this report, the start of nuclear negotiations within the framework of the Islamabad memorandum for ending the war between Iran and the United States is contingent upon the implementation of clause 13 of this memorandum. According to this clause, after the implementation of clauses 1, 4, 5, 10, and 11, talks to achieve a final agreement will begin.

These statements were made hours after J.D. Vance, the chief U.S. negotiator, said that Tehran has agreed to the return of International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors to Iran.
