Israel allowed the daily delivery of two fuel tankers to Gaza

Following the shutdown of hospitals and civilian aid projects due to energy shortages in the Gaza Strip, Israel’s war cabinet allowed the daily delivery of two fuel tankers to the area.

The Israeli cabinet announced in a statement that this permission was granted at the request of the United States.

In recent weeks, Israel has been under pressure from global public opinion and even leaders of several countries worldwide on this matter.

The statement mentioned that the Israeli cabinet unanimously approved the daily entry of two diesel fuel tankers into Gaza to meet the needs of the United Nations in supporting infrastructure, provided it does not reach Hamas.

The statement said this action allows Israel to maintain a continuous international maneuvering space to eliminate Hamas.

A United Nations Palestinian refugee agency official previously stated that before the start of the Israel-Hamas war, 50 fuel tankers entered the Gaza Strip daily.
