Israel granted permission to send two fuel tankers to Gaza on a daily basis

Israel has granted permission to send two fuel tankers daily to Gaza.

Following the closure of hospitals and relief projects for non-combatants due to energy shortages in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli cabinet has granted permission to send two fuel tankers daily to this enclave.

The Israeli cabinet stated in a statement that it has granted this permission at the request of the United States.

Israel has been under pressure in recent weeks from global public opinion and even leaders of some countries on this issue.

The statement states that the Israeli cabinet has approved the daily entry of two diesel fuel tankers into Gaza for the United Nations’ support of infrastructure, provided that it does not reach Hamas.

The statement states that this action allows Israel to create a continuous international maneuvering space to eliminate Hamas.

A Palestinian refugee agency official from the United Nations had previously stated that before the start of the Israeli-Hamas war, 50 fuel tankers were entering the Gaza Strip daily.
