Israel will act decisively if Iran retaliates
Israel has told the United States that if Iran attempts to attack Israel from its own territory in retaliation for the killing of seven IRGC officers in an attack attributed to Israel in Damascus, Israel will escalate the conflict to a new level and respond severely.
The Axios website published this warning on Friday, April 6, citing Israeli officials.
These unnamed officials have information indicating that Iran could attack Israel directly from its territory using long-range ballistic missiles, guided missiles, or drones.
The White House, the Pentagon, the Israeli military, and the Israeli Prime Minister’s office have remained silent and have not yet commented in response to the Axios report.
Following the attack attributed to Israel on Monday, April 2, which destroyed a building next to the Iranian Embassy in Damascus and killed at least seven Iranian military personnel and six others, the Israeli military has put its forces on alert due to concerns about potential Iranian retaliation.
