Israeli airstrike on Gaza kills one and injures another

The Israeli military announced that it conducted an airstrike against targets in the southern Gaza Strip. According to the Israeli military, an Israeli Air Force fighter jet attacked a drone and two suspected individuals. The report states that the drone flying in the sky was being remotely controlled by these two individuals.

The Jerusalem Post, citing Palestinian sources, reported that these two individuals were killed and injured.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu set a deadline on Tuesday, February 11th, for the Hamas group to release Israeli hostages. He announced in a video message that if the hostages are not released by noon on Saturday, February 15th, the ceasefire will end. Following this ultimatum, the Israeli military has reinforced its forces in the Gaza Strip.
