Claim by Israeli Army: We have taken control of all Gaza land borders

The Israeli army says it has taken control of a crucial buffer zone along the Gaza border with Egypt, thus Israel has dominated all of Gaza’s land borders.

The Israeli army later stated that it had taken control of this buffer zone.

An army spokesperson said that about 20 tunnels, which Hamas used for smuggling weapons into Gaza, were discovered there.

However, Egyptian television, citing informed sources, denied this claim and said that Israel is trying to justify military operations in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza.

This announcement comes amid escalating tensions between Israel and Egypt.
