The Israeli army commander visited the forces stationed in southern Lebanon

Eyal Zamir, the Israeli army commander, during his visit to the forces stationed around the Shuqif Castle in southern Lebanon, warned that the Israeli army is ready to take immediate action in case of any ceasefire violation.

He said the Israeli army will continue its efforts to address threats originating from Lebanese soil and will quickly engage in operations if the ceasefire is violated.

Zamir also emphasized that the operations of Israeli forces around Shuqif Castle and other areas in southern Lebanon continue within the framework of the agreement, and any threat against Israeli soldiers or citizens will be immediately targeted.

He added that the Lebanese armed forces, according to an agreement mediated by the United States, are obligated to clear the area of forces and military infrastructure of Lebanese militias.
