Israeli attack in Nablus leaves two dead
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Thursday, February 3rd, that in the Israeli army’s attack on the city of Nablus in the West Bank, at least two Palestinians were killed and 36 others were injured.
Currently, four of the injured are in critical condition and hospitalized.
Al Jazeera reported from Ramallah that most of the injured were hit by live ammunition.
Widespread clashes immediately broke out after the Israeli army attacked Nablus on Thursday morning at 10 AM local time with dozens of armored vehicles and special forces.
Israeli forces blocked all entrances to the city and then besieged houses, where according to reports, Hussam Salim, one of the Palestinian activists under pursuit, was located.
His fate is currently unknown.
