The Israeli Cabinet voted to shut down Al Jazeera network.

The Israeli Cabinet, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, has decided to halt the operations of the Qatari news network Al Jazeera in Palestine.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, stated that the activities of Al Jazeera news network in Palestine will be stopped, as the network’s headquarters are based in Qatar.

Netanyahu said in a social media post that the Cabinet, under my leadership, has unanimously decided to close the provocative Al Jazeera channel in Israel.

The Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz reported that the Israeli Cabinet has allowed Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi to issue orders to stop the broadcast of this network in Palestine in Arabic and English.

This decision includes closing Al Jazeera’s offices in Palestine and confiscating the equipment used by the network’s staff, except for phones and computers.

The Israeli Communications Minister has also been asked to restrict Palestine’s access to the website of this network.
