If the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran had been within range during the war, the Israeli Defense Minister said we would have eliminated him.

In an interview with Channel 13 of this country, Katz, the Israeli Defense Minister, said Israel intended to eliminate the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, but no operational opportunity arose for this action.

Israel Katz added that if he had been within our range, we would have eliminated him.

In response to the question of whether Israel sought permission from the US for such an action, he replied, we do not need permission for these actions.
