The Israeli Defense Minister reports the death of the IRGC Navy commander

Israel Katz, the Israeli Defense Minister, announced that Alireza Tangsiri, the commander of the IRGC Navy, has been killed in the country’s airstrikes.

He stated that Tangsiri, who was directly responsible for the terrorist act of bombing and blocking the Strait of Hormuz, was killed in this attack.

According to Katz, several other senior officials from the Iranian Navy command also lost their lives in this attack.

Iran has not yet reacted to this claim.

Earlier, Israeli media had reported that Tangsiri was killed in an attack on Bandar Abbas.
