An Israeli official stated that the Trump-Netanyahu meeting focused on Iran, and the topic of Koh Kolang was not raised.
Tzipi Hotovely, head of Israel’s Public Diplomacy Department, claimed after the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the main focus of the meeting was Iran, and the nuclear facility known as Koh Kolang was not discussed.
She also dismissed reports that Israel provided intelligence information about Koh Kolang to Trump during the meeting as incorrect, and stated that there is full coordination between the two leaders.
According to Hotovely, Trump and Netanyahu have a close and friendly relationship, and during this meeting, they also discussed the late Senator Lindsey Graham. She added that there is no pressure from the U.S. on Israel to retreat from its military achievements in Lebanon or Gaza.
Hotovely also claimed that Netanyahu’s goal for traveling to Washington was to deepen strategic coordination with Trump, not to drag the United States into a conflict.
