Today, the members of the United Nations Security Council will visit the Rafah crossing to be informed about the aid to the residents of Gaza and how to improve it.
It has been reported that more than 10 ambassadors from Security Council member countries will be present on this trip. Representatives from the United States, France, and Gabon will not participate.
Gilad Erdan, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, called the UN delegation’s visit to the Gaza border malicious and said it shows that this council only cares about the residents of Gaza, disregarding the suffering of the residents of southern Israel and the fate of the kidnapped individuals.
He said that the misguided visit of the Security Council, which has not condemned Hamas until now, undermines the legitimacy of its decisions regarding the war in Gaza. This is disgraceful.
