Serious Efforts by Israel to Halt the JCPOA Agreement

The Prime Minister of the Israeli government spent yesterday actively fulfilling the role of an Israeli Prime Minister opposed to the JCPOA. Besides meeting with Americans, he had a phone conversation with the German Chancellor.

The conversation between the two parties followed Mahmoud Abbas’s visit to Berlin and his harsh statements against Israel. Both leaders condemned Mahmoud Abbas’s remarks. However, Yair Lapid specifically discussed the JCPOA with Scholz and called for halting the finalization of the JCPOA and not granting new concessions to Iran.
