With exchange offices that refuse to provide Arbaeen currency, it is possible

The Central Bank issued a directive warning exchange offices not to refrain from providing Arbaeen currency to pilgrims. The text of this directive is as follows:

Following the previous announcement from this bank regarding prioritizing the provision of Arbaeen currency services, it is hereby informed that any refusal to provide Arbaeen currency services and prioritizing other services by exchange offices during the period of pilgrims’ travel to the holy sites, as well as conditioning these services on terms outside those communicated by this bank, will face the strictest supervisory actions, including preventing the exchange office from operating and disqualifying the offending managers.

Inspectors from this bank will monitor the overall performance of exchange offices regarding the provision of Arbaeen currency services both overtly and covertly, and in the event of observing violations, necessary supervisory actions will be taken against the offenders.
