Jebeli’s reaction to the ban on broadcasting the series Hashashin: SATRA has the responsibility to prevent distortion

The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) provided explanations regarding the prevention of the broadcast of the series Hashashin on home video networks.

He said about the removal of the series Hashashin from the home video network: Yes, SATRA is responsible for preventing any content that is distorted and harms social understanding and misleads public opinion. It must regulate and supervise. In our opinion, the series Hashashin is a show that, as SATRA mentioned in its statement, is not based on actual events but rather on historical distortion. For this reason, SATRA warned the platforms about its broadcast, and the platforms acted accordingly.
