The Javan newspaper, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, calls Molavi Abdolhamid’s remarks excessive demands.

The Javan newspaper, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has described the statements of Molavi Abdolhamid, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, about the outcome of the visit by representatives of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic to this city as excessive demands.

Molavi Abdolhamid wrote in a tweet yesterday that the expectation from the Supreme Leader’s delegation was to see the realities, condemn the crime of the Bloody Friday in Zahedan, console the families of the martyrs and the injured of this incident, and to ensure justice, not to threaten and intimidate the oppressed.

The publication stated that during the delegation’s visit, everything that Abdolhamid Ismaeelzehi claims was not done, was indeed done. The people were consoled, emphasis was placed on punishing the culprits and investigating the recent incidents in the province, and it was announced that the innocent victims of these incidents would be considered martyrs according to the Supreme Leader’s view.

The newspaper has rejected Molavi Abdolhamid’s remarks about threats and intimidation and stated that what was not done during this visit was giving in to the excessive demands.
