JCPOA negotiations are the focus of Ulyanov and the new Iranian representative’s talks in Vienna
Ulyanov posted a picture on his Twitter page, stating that he met with the new Iranian representative in Vienna today, Monday, and discussed a series of issues related to the final stage of the Vienna negotiations.
Mohsen Naziri Asl was recently appointed as the new ambassador and permanent representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the United Nations office in Vienna, as well as the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Borrell, the EU’s foreign policy chief, said that after submitting his proposal, they received a response from Iran, which he found reasonable. This matter was communicated to the United States, which has not yet responded. We are waiting for their response and hope that it will allow us to complete the negotiations. I am hopeful, but I cannot assure you.
