Joe Biden: I believe the response in the Gaza Strip has been excessive

In a press briefing with reporters at the White House, Joe Biden said, as you know, I believe the response in the Gaza Strip has been excessive.
The US President added that significant efforts have been made to reach an agreement for normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel, increasing humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians, and temporarily halting the fighting to free hostages held by Hamas.
Joe Biden said, I am working hard to reach an agreement on a ceasefire and the release of hostages. There are too many innocent people who are starving, too many innocent people who are suffering and dying. This must stop.
