A senior official of the National Security Council stated that the centrifuges in Iran are spinning, and the US is trying to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons through diplomatic means.

John Kirby, the coordinator of strategic communications at the National Security Council, said the United States is willing to pursue a negotiation solution to resolve and settle the disputes in the matter of Iran’s nuclear weapons.

Kirby, on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Washington, said, ‘We know the centrifuges are spinning in Iran. President Joe Biden has clearly stated that we will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons. It is clear that we prefer to achieve this goal through diplomacy.’
