Judiciary Spokesperson: Shabnam Nematzadeh’s 90 Billion Bail to Be Seized Due to Absence from Prison

The spokesperson for the judiciary announced that Shabnam Nematzadeh’s 90 billion bail will be confiscated due to her absence from prison.

Asghar Jahangir, the spokesperson for Iran’s judiciary, says that Shabnam Nematzadeh’s 90 billion toman bail will be seized because she did not return to prison.

Mr. Jahangir stated that Ms. Nematzadeh was granted leave but then became absent and did not return to prison.

The spokesperson for Iran’s judiciary announced that Ms. Nematzadeh’s bail was posted by Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, a former politician and minister in Iran, and said that the seizure of his 90 billion property in Tehran is in the execution phase.

Shabnam Nematzadeh has been sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment, 74 lashes in public, and a permanent ban from government services for disrupting Iran’s economic system through the buying and selling of pharmaceutical products.
