Hossein Hedayati has not been released by the judiciary.

In recent days, the judiciary has denied claims circulating in some media and online spaces about the release of Hossein Hedayati, stating that these claims are not true.

Hedayati has been in prison since June 2018 and, like other convicts, has used legal furlough during his period of imprisonment.

Based on the court’s ruling, Hedayati has been sentenced to imprisonment, flogging, confiscation of property, and dismissal from service.

Therefore, according to reports, Hedayati has so far paid part of his confiscated property and will remain in prison until the full payment is made.
