Continuing the wave of support for Taraneh Alidoosti and the protest against her arrest, the renowned French actress Juliette Binoche posted a picture of Taraneh Alidoosti on her personal Instagram page, writing ‘Shame on the executions by the Iranian government, shame on their cruelty and ignorance.’
This French actress, who had previously joined the protests in Iran by cutting her hair in response to the death of Mahsa Amini in the custody of the morality police, praised the extraordinary courage of Iranian protesters in the streets in her Instagram post. She wrote, ‘Iran is full of intelligent and educated people. We see you, we are aware of your struggle, and we will not forget you.’
