Karaj Governor’s 24-hour ultimatum to ban the employment of Afghan nationals in restaurants

The governor of Karaj announced a 24-hour ultimatum for banning the employment of unauthorized Afghan nationals in restaurants and service centers across the city during a nighttime visit to Karaj’s restaurants.

Yahya Ramazani, the deputy governor and governor of Karaj County, made an unannounced visit to several restaurants and coffee shops in the city on Monday evening.

During his visit, he warned the owners and operators of these establishments to remove unauthorized Afghan nationals within 24 hours.

He emphasized that if unauthorized Afghan nationals are not removed and their employment is observed, legal action will be taken, and the business will be sealed.
