Karbaschi’s Reaction to the Espionage Accusation Against His Journalist in the Security Agencies’ Statement
Gholamhossein Karbaschi, the editor-in-chief of the Ham-Mihan newspaper, reacted to the joint statement by the Ministry of Intelligence and the IRGC Intelligence, which accused two detained journalists from Shargh and Ham-Mihan of espionage, saying
As far as we inquired, nothing has been communicated to us, and what Ms. Elham Mohammadi did was to go and prepare a report for the newspaper, and similar reports have also been prepared in detail and with more specifics by Fars News Agency and other agencies.
From a professional standpoint, what we saw was just the preparation of a report, but if there is any other matter, the documents and evidence should be presented to the court and judicial authorities. After that, we should wait and see what results these claims will lead to.
