Kayhan newspaper’s new request: Police and Basij should be allowed to deal decisively with rioters
In its editorial, Kayhan wrote: A look at some of the events these days and the brutal attacks by internal Daesh-like elements on innocent people in the streets and markets, and even on the police, pains the heart of any free human being. What is even more painful is the unjustifiable leniency of the military and police forces in the face of these brutalities.
The police and Basij have repeatedly shown that they are men of tough situations and the ones who end bad days of incidents, and the question is why they are not allowed to deal decisively with the rioters and those who violate the lives, property, and honor of the people.
