Kayhan Newspaper Wants Medical Professionals to Form Khatami’s Third Government

Kayhan newspaper wants the medical community to form the third government of Khatami.

Kayhan wrote that less than a week before the fourth presidential election in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the members of the Rouhani cabinet, who have become symbols of inefficiency and mismanagement in Iranian political literature, play special roles in supporting Masoud Pezeshkian in various ways.

On the other hand, the medical community has subtly expressed dissatisfaction and distance from the Rouhani government, and despite Khatami’s shining track record, they are more inclined to introduce themselves as an extension of Khatami rather than continuing Rouhani’s government.

Media outlets claiming to be reformist, such as Ham-Mihan and Sazandegi, also understand the pushback against the Rouhani government for Masoud Pezeshkian and are making efforts to introduce him as a continuation of Khatami’s government.
