The Khatam al-Anbiya Base considers the USS Gerald Ford a target

The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Base announced in a statement that Iran views the presence of the US aircraft carrier USS Gerald Ford in the Red Sea as a threat against itself, and for this reason, the logistical and service centers supporting the mentioned naval group in the Red Sea are considered targets by Iran’s armed forces.

The USS Gerald Ford is the largest warship in the world and is over 300 meters long.

Last Thursday, the US Central Command in the Middle East, CENTCOM, announced that one of the main sections of the laundry on this carrier had caught fire, but the fire was contained, and no damage was done to the ship’s propulsion system, and this aircraft carrier is fully operational.

According to CENTCOM, this fire was not related to any combat operations.

The USS Gerald Ford has been deployed from the Caribbean Sea to the Middle East region to participate in operations related to the conflict with Iran.
