Khatami warns that Iran is in danger.
The reformist prime minister emphasizes that it is very difficult to talk about reforms in a polarized atmosphere dominated by the revolution and the Islamic Republic. In this atmosphere, one pole considers what exists and is happening to be good, desirable, and even sacred, and does not see any way other than overthrowing the other pole.
The dissatisfied people, especially the dear youth who have shown their protest more than ever in this period of time, are the biggest victims of this polarized atmosphere. One pole does not see them at all, and if they do see them, they consider them to be rioters and troublemakers. The other pole tries to take advantage of this dissatisfaction and protest to undermine the rival pole.
