Kianoush Sanjari was summoned to court

Kianoush Sanjari, a freelance journalist, has announced his summons to the Islamic Revolutionary Court

He, who has been arrested and imprisoned multiple times in past years, posted an image of this summons on his personal Twitter page on Wednesday, January 11, indicating that he is summoned to Branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court on January 29

After the start of anti-government protests in 2022 in Iran, Sanjari was also arrested on November 14 after appearing in Branch 1 of the Evin Prison Prosecutor’s Office and being charged. He was transferred to Evin Prison and released temporarily on bail a few days later
