The Kremlin: Iran, Saudi Arabia, and other countries have the right to develop peaceful nuclear energy.

Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, emphasized that Iran, Saudi Arabia, and other countries should have the right to develop peaceful nuclear energy. He stated that Russia continues to engage in discussions with the United States about resolving the Ukraine war through working channels.

Peskov also announced that the timing of the visit of Steve Witkoff, the U.S. special envoy, and Jared Kushner to Russia will be announced at an appropriate time.

He further highlighted the recent agreement between the United States and Saudi Arabia on civilian nuclear cooperation, reaffirming Moscow’s stance on the right of countries to peacefully utilize nuclear energy.
