Kushner and Witkoff Meeting on Iran

The German news agency DPA reported on Saturday, January 24th, citing informed sources, that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, two special U.S. envoys for Middle East affairs, discussed the future of the Gaza situation with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel. Simultaneously, Israel’s Channel 13 reported that the issue of Iran was also examined in this meeting.

Earlier, Reuters news agency, citing two informed sources, had announced that Witkoff and Kushner were in Israel on Saturday to meet with Netanyahu and primarily discuss the future of Gaza.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for Netanyahu’s office confirmed the meeting took place but did not provide further details.

On Thursday, the United States announced plans for the reconstruction of a new Gaza, including residential towers, data centers, and beach resorts, as part of President Donald Trump’s efforts to revive the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which has been repeatedly violated.
