The Minister of Labor said the law doesn’t state that workers’ wages should be exactly the same as inflation

Sohrab Mortazavi, the Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, said the law states that workers’ wages should consider inflation, but it doesn’t say they should be exactly the same as inflation. We divided the inflation into several parts: last year’s inflation, point-to-point inflation, and the inflation predicted for the year 2024.

Therefore, we averaged these, which came out to be about 35%, and we implemented the law for 2024. As you are aware, the law has essentially specified this.
