Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, will not negotiate with the USA

Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, announced that the Islamic Republic will not enter into negotiations with the USA

In response to a report from the Wall Street Journal which claimed that Larijani was seeking to resume negotiations with Washington through Omani mediation, he wrote on his social media account on X that we will not negotiate with the USA

Previously, Donald Trump, the President of the USA, had told the Atlantic magazine that Tehran had shown signs of willingness to resume negotiations

Trump had said they want to talk, and I have agreed to talk, so I will negotiate with them. They should have done this sooner. They should have done what was very practical and easy much earlier
