Four Iranian climbers attempted to ascend Mount Damavand despite warnings about severe weather conditions but became trapped.
The head of the Red Crescent’s Relief and Rescue Organization said in an interview with ILNA on Monday, February 11, that what we know for certain is that two of these individuals have died, one person has been completely rescued and reached by rescue teams, and they have not yet been able to reach one person, although they are in contact with them, but their condition is not good.
Babak Mahmoudi added that the teams are still searching.
We sent a helicopter today, and it tried three times to approach the area, but due to unfavorable weather conditions, they could not.
