Lebanon seeks help from the US to stop Israeli attacks

The President of Lebanon announced that he has asked the United States to pressure Israel to adhere to the ceasefire and stop attacks on residential areas in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese government also announced that since Saturday, 74 people have been killed in Israeli attacks.

Despite a ceasefire announcement by Donald Trump about a month ago, Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon continue.

The recent clashes began after rocket attacks by Lebanese militant groups in support of Iran.

Tehran has also proposed stopping Israeli attacks on Lebanon in its plan to end the war, but Donald Trump has described this proposal as completely unacceptable.

According to the Lebanese government, in the past month and a half, 2,869 people have been killed in Israeli attacks, although no exact statistics have been released on the number of militants among the dead.
