Lerner, Head of French Foreign Intelligence: We Know Approximately Where Iran Stores Its Enriched Uranium Reserves

Lerner, head of France’s foreign intelligence service, states we roughly know where Iran stores its enriched uranium reserves.

Nicolas Lerner, head of the French foreign intelligence service, in his first remarks after the airstrike on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities, told France’s LCI television network on Tuesday that Iran’s nuclear program has been delayed by several months following the US and Israeli attacks. He mentioned that there are indications of where Iran’s enriched uranium reserves are kept, but until the agency resumes its work, we cannot speak with certainty.

The head of France’s foreign intelligence service emphasized that part of the highly enriched uranium reserves was destroyed during these attacks, but the majority of it remains in the hands of Iranian authorities.

Nicolas Lerner added that our current assessment is that each phase of Iran’s nuclear program has been severely damaged, and the nuclear program, as we know it, has been significantly delayed, likely for several months.
