Letter from 100 Rabbis to Netanyahu: Agree to Ceasefire and Prisoner Exchange

Israeli network Kan reported that over 100 American Jewish rabbis have written to Benjamin Netanyahu, urging him to agree to a ceasefire and prisoner exchange.

According to Kan network, the letter states that accepting the agreement is a Jewish and ethical obligation that must be fulfilled now.

This letter from the rabbis to Netanyahu comes after Yoav Gallant, Israel’s Defense Minister, recently stated in a meeting of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of the Israeli Parliament that Israel is the reason for the lack of an agreement, and Netanyahu’s comments about absolute victory are nonsense, which angered Netanyahu.

Gallant had previously mentioned several times that Netanyahu is trying to maintain his political position, even if it harms the Israeli prisoners held by Hamas.
