Letter from over 1200 IT sector activists to Raisi: Remove internet restrictions and release detained activists in this field

More than 1200 managers of businesses in the information technology sector have written to Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran, requesting the removal of internet restrictions and the release of detained IT activists.

The signatories of this letter have stated that internet access for fifty million people in Iran is synonymous with access to social networks and messaging apps, and the livelihoods of millions are tied to these tools. Naturally, any filtering or disruption and restriction of this access leads to dissatisfaction among the citizens and creates serious discontent.
