Ultimately, we must remove the Ayatollah
Lindsey Graham, a senior Republican senator from the United States, appreciated Donald Trump’s efforts to use diplomacy with Iran on the eve of a new round of Iran-U.S. negotiations in Geneva, but said we must understand that we are dealing with a dishonest party.
In remarks about the leader of the Islamic Republic, he added that no agreement can change his nature.
Graham emphasized in a message on the X network and also in a conversation with Sean Hannity, an American host and political analyst, that ultimately the Ayatollah must be removed.
This senator close to Trump added that even if negotiations are held with the Iranian government, one should not expect a fundamental change in the behavior of the leadership of the Islamic Republic.
According to Graham, currently, two fishing lines have been cast into the water: one diplomatic line aiming to find a diplomatic way to end the Iranian regime, and the other a military option line.
He added that the President of the United States is seeking to see from which line a bigger fish can be caught.
