Mahmoud Sadeghi predicts participation in Tehran to be between 6 to 9 percent.

The Secretary of the Islamic Association of University Instructors told Jamaran that the fact that surveys are not being published has a specific implication. In previous terms, surveys were at least published monthly. The last ISPA survey was from November and wasn’t published after that, indicating that the situation is not good.

The last survey I heard about was from the time of election registration in August, which predicted participation in Tehran to be between 6 to 9 percent, about 20 percent in provincial centers and large cities, and around 24 to 27 percent nationwide.

In some other surveys that have been mentioned but not published, they have said that participation in Tehran is up to 15 percent and nationwide up to 30 percent, with definite participation being 30 percent at best.

In provincial centers and large cities, it was about 20 percent, and nationwide it was around 24 to 27 percent.
