Mahmoud Sadeghi registered for the 1403 elections
Mahmoud Sadeghi, a representative of Tehran in the tenth parliament, registered for the fourteenth presidential election by attending the Ministry of Interior building. Upon entering the registration hall, he took his ID card out from among his documents and held it up towards the journalists.
The former parliament representative said after registering for the election that there are still glimmers of hope for the future.
Our country is currently facing numerous challenges and crises, which mainly stem from the governance system. Not only has it eliminated the opportunity for progress, but it has also led to the disappointment and despair of the Iranian nation in achieving the ideals of the revolution.
The root of these problems lies in the country’s fundamental decision-making system turning away from knowledge and wisdom, neglecting national production, and ignoring justice. These misguided policies have resulted in the formation of a rent-seeking and privileged system that pursues its interests through elimination and conflict.
It has marginalized knowledgeable forces and driven away the country’s resources. However, despite these challenges, there are still glimmers of hope for the future. Whenever an opportunity for public participation and the use of the country’s vast human resources has arisen, we have witnessed the dynamism and development of the country.
