Manouchehr Valizadeh, theater and cinema actor, voice actor, and narrator, passed away at the age of 84.

Manouchehr Valizadeh, a veteran and famous Iranian voice actor, died at the age of 84 after being hospitalized for two weeks due to respiratory issues.

Farshid Shakiba, the director of the dubbing unit of Sima, announced that this voice actor and performer passed away on Wednesday, February 20th, in the intensive care unit.

Throughout six decades of his artistic career, from voice acting to hosting and acting in theater and cinema, he was a well-known artist to the people of Iran, mostly recognized for voicing the cartoon character Lucky Luke.

Mr. Valizadeh was born in Tehran and entered the art scene at the age of 16, acting in films such as ‘The Lost Flower’ and ‘An Angel in My House’ before the revolution, and in films like ‘Don’t Take It Seriously’ and ‘Separation’ after the revolution.

However, his main fame is in the dubbing industry, and his voice acting as Michael Scofield in the TV series ‘Prison Break’ was well-received by the audience.
