Masoud Pezeshkian’s cabinet list will be introduced after coordination and consultation with the leadership.
Masoud Pezeshkian says that after reviewing proposals from various political groups to shape his government, he will take his cabinet list to the President of the Islamic Republic for coordination and consultation before presenting it to the parliament.
The President-elect of Iran, who has not yet held a press conference with reporters, gave his first press interview to the website of Ali Khamenei’s office, which was published on Friday, the fifth of Mordad.
Various accounts have been published in recent years stating that appointing ministers for ministries such as Foreign Affairs, Intelligence, and Culture and Islamic Guidance without the approval of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic is not possible.
However, Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that after finalizing the cabinet list, which is done by his advisors, they will go to the President of the Islamic Republic in the final stage and, through coordination and consultation with him, they will reach a final conclusion to be able to introduce the cabinet members.
