Masoud Pezeshkian appointed Mohammad Javad Zarif as the Deputy Strategic Advisor to the President.

Masoud Pezeshkian, the Vice President of Iran, appointed Mohammad Javad Zarif as the Deputy Strategic Advisor to the President.

Mr. Pezeshkian appointed Mohammad Jafar Qaempanah as the Deputy for Executive Affairs to the President and the Acting Head of the Presidential Institution in another decree.

Mr. Zarif served as the Foreign Minister during the presidency of Hassan Rouhani, and after Masoud Pezeshkian’s victory in the presidential elections, he worked as the Chairman of the Guidance Council for the selection of members of the fourteenth government’s cabinet.
