Masoud Pezeshkian was the only one who spoke out during the Mahsa Amini incident.

The presidential candidate said, ‘Freedom, in my opinion, means we shouldn’t question beliefs and convictions. Why do we argue with each other? During the Mahsa Amini incident, I was the only one who spoke, and I didn’t say anything that questioned my own beliefs. This is my true belief that everyone’s rights should be preserved.’

In response to the prisoners’ request for the release of political prisoners, he said, ‘Political prisoners are not within my jurisdiction, and even if I wanted to do something, I have no authority.’

This presidential candidate stated, ‘Honestly, I didn’t know I would be welcomed this much. Regarding ministers, I will use competent individuals.’

Regarding combating corruption, he said, ‘I cannot talk about corruption in three minutes, and anyone who says they can is lying.’
