Masoud Pezeshkian said the ground should open up and swallow a person from shame.

Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, tweeted in response to the murder of Mahsa Amini at the Guidance Patrol headquarters.

It is unacceptable that in the Islamic Republic, a girl is detained because of her hijab and then her corpse is returned to her family. The ground should open up and swallow a person from shame. May God have mercy on us, our children, and the future of our country.
