Masoud Pezeshkian thought that everything we have is dependent on oil and they want to stop it.

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, in response to Donald Trump’s remarks about exerting maximum pressure on Iran, has said that there are many paths for Iran to solve its problems.

On Wednesday, February 6th, during a ceremony at the Ministry of Energy, he referred to the country’s resources and reserves and said, ‘America says they will sanction us, but if we manage our resources and work properly with our neighbors and have interactions, how can a country with 15 friendly and neighboring countries be sanctioned so easily? They thought everything we have is dependent on oil and they want to stop it, but there are many paths for us and our people to solve both our problems and the people’s problems.’

He also said on Wednesday in a separate meeting with the Secretary-General of OPEC in Tehran that members should act in a way that their actions do not harm another member. I believe that if OPEC members act united and cohesive, the United States cannot sanction and pressure one of the members.
