Mawlawi Abdul Hamid: Now is the time for a shift and change in policies.

Mawlawi Abdul Hamid, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, referring to the recent developments in Syria, said the opportunity is very limited, and now is the time for a shift and change in policies. It is not clear whether there will be an opportunity for a shift and change in the future or not.

In his speech during the Friday prayer ceremony on Friday, January 10, which was published on a Telegram channel attributed to him, Mawlawi Abdul Hamid referred to the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad’s government and said the developments in Syria indicate a major trend that should be paid attention to.

The Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan added that in Syria, initially, the people did not want the overthrow of the government but rather wanted changes. However, instead of listening to the people and yielding to their demands, the Syrian officials confronted the people.

Mawlawi Abdul Hamid also expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the Ukrainian plane crash during this ceremony and said that if the Ukrainian plane incident had been addressed fairly and impartially in the early days, the issue would not have continued until today.
